If eligible, you can switch to a different ticket type within the same event or transfer to a different event hosted by the same organizer.
Before you start — eligibility check
Ticket changes are not available if:
- The organizer has not enabled ticket changes
- The ticket you want is sold out or unavailable
- The event has already started
- Your ticket was free
If you don't see the option to change your ticket option, you can contact the event organizer to ask about alternatives. Eventbrite cannot override organizer settings.
How to change your ticket
- Log in and go to Tickets
- Select the order you want to change
- Select Change ticket
- Change event or date — transfer to a different event hosted by the same organizer
- Change ticket type — transfer to a different ticket or seat within the same event
- Note: You can only change one ticket at a time
- Select the new ticket or event you want. If you're changing to a new event or event date, select the event before choosing a new ticket. Then, select Continue.
- Review your changes and select Continue
- Enter any required registration or billing information
- You may need to pay the price difference and/or ticketing fees
- Changing to a lower-priced ticket does not automatically issue a refund
- Select Place order to confirm
