What you can change
From Account Settings on the website, you can update:
- Display name (first and last name shown on your profile)
- Email address — see Change your Eventbrite account email address for the full steps
- Password — see Reset your password
Updating your name
- Log in and go to Account Settings
- Under Profile, edit your first and last name
- Select Save changes
Note: Changing your account name does not update the name on existing ticket orders. To change the name on a ticket, you need to edit the order directly — or contact the event organizer if editing is not available.
Updating your phone number
Your phone number on Eventbrite is tied to the Friends / Find your crew feature in the mobile app, not to Account Settings directly. To update it:
- Open the Eventbrite app
- Go to Account → Friends → Find your crew
- Follow the prompts to update and re-verify your number
Important: the main account phone number cannot be edited from Account Settings. If you do not use the Friends feature, your phone number does not affect your account functionality.
What cannot be changed in Account Settings?
- The name or email on a specific ticket order — contact the event organizer for that.
- The email address via the mobile app — this must be done on the website.
- Merging two accounts into one — this is not supported.
