A QR code is a quick way for people to find and buy tickets to your event from a flyer, poster, slide, or social post. Eventbrite doesn't have a built-in QR code generator yet, but you can add one in a couple of minutes using your event link.
Before you start
Publish your event first. A QR code created from a draft event link won't lead anywhere useful until the event is live.
You may also want to customize your event link before generating the code, so the URL behind the QR is short and on-brand.
Option 1: Use Google Chrome
- Open your live event page in Google Chrome.
- Select the Share icon on the right side of the address bar.
- Select Create QR Code.
- Download the QR code and add it to your flyer, slide, or social post.
Option 2: Use a free third-party QR code generator
- Go to your event dashboard.
- Under the event title, find Event link and select Copy link.
- Paste the link into a trusted third-party QR code generator.
- Download the QR code and use it on your promotional materials.
Test before you share
Scan the QR code with your phone to make sure it opens your live event page. If it opens a blank or broken page, double-check that your event is published and that you copied the live event link.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I create a QR code that goes straight to checkout? No. The QR code links to your event page, where attendees can select Get Tickets.
